After two very long missions in which I had to carry things all over creation, along with the frustrating and mind-numbingly tedious 'die and fail' mission design I'm wondering if I want to continue with this game.

The very few SP games that used long 'no save' levels were universally denigrated, but GW requires that we endure the same endlessly tedious missions over and over from scratch until we get to the next endlessly tedious mission. Why are there no respawn points and a death penalty like in explorable areas?

I hope that whoever decided to make us carry crap all through the missions is gang raped by a horde of drunken charr. My group has wiped several times because I forgot that my character was out of commission while holding something pointless and stupid.

I'm just not having any fun. Does it get any less tedious and frustrating?

It's a little tedious only if you have no idea what you're doing (i'm assuming that you are new and inexperienced).
When you gather more skills and get a few people in your friends list, you will enjoy things more i think.
Have you tried PvP? Maybe you would prefer that instead. It's currently PvPX weekend (more faction points in arena for unlocking items) and it might be a good idea to try pvp while it lasts.

If however you still find the missions to be "tedious" then maybe this game isn't for you. There are however some very mentally challenging missions later on in the game (as well as some mentally challenged people, lol

) so i'm pretty sure you will find something to keep you entertained.

That's nice, but then again you're an idiot. Once you pay a non refundable high price for this game, you can't just say, "oh this isn't the game for you" because you have now wasted a lot of time and money into this game.

You do know you can drop the item and fight don't you? I've played several carry missions as a W/Mo with just henchies and carried the item up to the fight area then drop it, kill the mobs then pick it up again and continue.
